Tammy W: Morphea Scleroderma

I do not want it to get any worse than it already is.

Paper Flowers by Shelley My name is Tammy and I am thirty-one years old and I have just recently been diagnosed with what I think he called "spotted morphea."

I have a spot on my right side which started out very small and got larger over a six month period of time. I have a much larger area on my right thigh that is about the size of a large orange.

My doctor did a biopsy and said it is Morphea and gave me a cream called Fluocinonide (this is the generic name). He also told me to start taking vitamin C and vitamin E every day for the rest of my life.

I have just discovered that I have another very large area on my abdomen that just came up. I need help! Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I do not want it to get any worse than it already is.

Please let me know everything you know about this horrible disease. Should I be doing anything different? Please write back as soon as possible.
