Suzy G: GAVE and Primary Biliary Cirrhosis

My top left side of my stomach is so, so sore.

Watermelon by Shelley EnszJust over six years ago I was diagnosed with primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), a liver disease. Since then everything else seems to be happening to my body.

Gastric Antral Vascular Ectasia (GAVE, which is also known as Watermelon Stomach) was diagnosed about three years ago and after numerous iron infusions it was decided that they would operate and stem the bleeding in my stomach. That was yesterday and today I feel so weak and tired. My top left side of my stomach is so, so sore. It hurts to bend down. Looks like we will repeat surgery in three to six months.

I would love to hear from anyone with similar problems.
