I am a forty-seven-year-old woman who was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in my right elbow. I was sent to an orthopaedic surgeon for a consultation. When he examined me, he mentioned the possibility that I may have scleroderma. He said my fingers and face showed signs of this disease.
I have visited some websites and found that I have some of the symptoms. I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and daily heartburn. I also had to have a set of full dentures when I was twenty-nine years old. I am a chronic asthmatic and have stridor.
I have an appointment with my doctor to have further tests done to see if I have scleroderma. I take prednisone when my asthma acts up but, that always weakens my immune system. I take bovine colostrum every day to boost my immune system.
Hopefully, I will have further news after I see the doctor.
