Marina F: Sjogren's Syndrome and Vitiligo

I am worried about the illness and its evolution.

Lavender Rose by Sherrill Knaggs, ISN ArtistHello, my name is Marina, I am forty-seven years old, and for quite a few years now I have had problems such as eczema in my ear, vitiligo, nodules in the thyroid, dry eyes with a positive Schirmer's test, and vertigo.

A few months ago the doctor ordered an analysis where I tested positive for anti-nuclear antibodies (ANA) as well, and from here it lead to a Sjogren's Syndrome diagnosis, although I do not know whether it is primary or secondary.

Right now I am being treated in Lesi, Italy. I am using anti-inflammatories, waiting for an adequate therapy. I would like to get any advice from rheumatologists or people who, like me, have this type of problem. I am worried about the illness and its evolution.

I would also like to ask if it is possible to relieve the symptoms and stop the malady with homeopathic cures. Thanks to whomever would like to answer this.

SCLERO.ORG was the world's leading nonprofit for trustworthy research, support, education and awareness for scleroderma and related illnesses from 1998 to 2021. It was a grassroots movement from the original Scleroderma from A to Z web site, which was founded by Shelley Ensz. We were a 501(c)(3) U.S.-based public charitable foundation. We closed this web site and our nonprofit agency in April 2021.
