Here's an array of great party items for use whenever you or a friend feel like properly groveling around in depression, anxiety, and general overall misery. Now please get real sad and cry, weep, moan and groan right along with us. Your tears are ALWAYS welcome here!
So you want to know what I am bringing to the Virtual Pity Party ? Well, food isn't really my "thing", so I'll leave the cake, goodies and various beverages to others.
I have arranged to have "It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want To " piped into everybody's monitors/speakers (yeah I know that just aged me huh? - oh well). Then I ordered two cases of kleenex with aloe, but changed it to one case when I remembered our Sjögren's members—they won't need as much so they can use the virtual ones. Then I ordered up two cases of saline eyedrops.
For entertainment the following items are ordered: A DartBoard with a clear sleeve on front into which we can insert our "favorite" doctor's photo with very sharp darts to throw.
A supply of two teddy bears per person: One for lots of soothing comforting hugs; and one to beat the stuffing out of!
The Diagnosis Roulette Wheel so we all get a chance to play—sorry this isn't an orginal idea, but as far as I know there's no patent pending on it so we'll "borrow" it anyway.
A supply of electric heated snowboots with hat and mitten to match… fashion is everything right? Last but not least, The Hot Tub should be arriving shortly.
Arrangements have been made for it to be set up and working when we get there…we'll just forget about the blood pressure while we're there.
