I am looking forward to spending more time with you.

Susie Kraft and FamilyHello, I'm Susie Kraft. I am an ISN Sclero Forums Support Specialist, as well as an ISN Sclero Forums Chat Host.

I loved the last job I had, as I worked with my husband as a USPS Mail Contractor for a total of eleven years. Even though I was diagnosed with scleroderma in 1995, I begged my doctor to look the other way, so I could continue what I loved — working with my husband! Although I do not regret it, my body may have suffered, due to the four years of heavy lifting the job required, early on.

My husband and I retired simultaneously, due to the need to move back "home" to caregive my mother. Over time, I have found I must really keep tabs on my energy level, no longer pushing myself, as I once did. I dearly love the outdoors during spring, summer and autumn. Yet, cold winters are not my friend, due to Raynaud's phenomenon.

My rheumatologist has always wanted me to start a local scleroderma support group, but to date, I have not, I am sorry to say. However, as time goes on, I may! I found my way to the ISN quite some time ago and have gotten well acquainted with many of you, whether it was on the Sclero Forums and/or on Sunday Night Chats. I am looking forward to spending time with you in both locations now on a more regular basis!
