Sherrill Knaggs, ISN News Guide Hello, I'm Sherrill Knaggs, your ISN News Guide. I live with my husband of 36 years in New Zealand.

We took early retirement, and shortly afterwards I became ill with diffuse systemic scleroderma, which I have now had for eight years.

As I am unable to walk because of the scleroderma, and have kidney failure with dialysis, I spend much time at the computer, and on the Internet. Because of my interest and experience with this, I have also created the ISN page about dialysis, so I am also the ISN Dialysis Guide. In addition, I am the ISN Thyroid Guide.

As an ISN News Guide for Scleroderma News, I research and prepare items about scleroderma medical and media news which are on the Internet.

ISN Guides research the Internet for timely and reliable information regarding their page topic(s). Would you like to help with this website? We have many openings for volunteers !

I'm also an ISN Artist, contributing my digital photography to illustrate many of the patient and caregiver stories on this site, such as my photos in this animation. See the Google collection of my art that is featured on this website.

My personal story is featured in ISN's book, Voices of Scleroderma Volume 2. The cover art for this book series was painted by my mother, Ione Bridgman, who is also an ISN Artist, and I scanned and prepared the digital files from her original paintings. I have also illustrated articles for Voices of Scleroderma Volume 3.

In February 2008, I retired as ISN News Guide and ISN Scleroderma News Guide, and was promoted to ISN Senior Artist, in recognition of the over 400 photo illustrations I have made for this site. My health has become even more challenging, requiring that I spend most of my time resting and sleeping. But I still always do whatever I can, whenever I am up to it.

~ Sherrill passed away on February 27, 2008 and is greatly missed by all who knew her. ~
