Thomas: Brother of Morphea Patient
Now we found out that the doctor was wrong.

Linden Hills Dog by Shelley Ensz for Thomas' SisterHi, my name is Thomas. My little sister was once a happy and healthy child. Then we found out that she was affected with morphea. At first the doctors said that she was going to be alright and only have mild symptoms.

Now we found out that that doctor was wrong and we now have to decide if she has the medium case or the worst case of Morphea. She is seven years old. She had lesions at first only on her chest. Now they are all over her left leg. If there is anyone who knows about this or about how long her lifespan will be, please e-mail me.

She is going to go to Emory hospital to figure out what it is. We just do not know anything about it and my mom is really sad because my sister is only seven. Our screen name to talk to us is Peach7aw. Just tell us anything that you know about it. Thank You.

~ Webmaster's Comment~

Morphea is never fatal, although severe cases can be disabling and often disfiguring. There are also treatments available for morphea now. Hopefully Thomas will give us an update on her diagnosis, once they know more.
