Tata: Morphea

Hello everybody. I am twenty-seven years old. Three years ago I was diagnosed with morphea.

I remember that since I was a child I used to have a small purple spot in my right thigh, but I never asked my doctor what it could be. About four years ago it began to spread to my leg, and I got two more in my right arm, my hips. The skin from my ankle all the way up to my knee was completely fused to my bone.

I went through physiotherapy and my skin has gotten better. Now I am in treatment with dermatologists that have given me colchicine and other creams which apparently have been really useful since my skin is not as hard.

I try to moisten the rest of my skin every day as well.

I am a very positive person, and I know that my faith is helping me and I can say that I don't suffer this illness any longer. Remember that hope is the last thing we should lose. To everyone, keep it up, and be strong, don't stop being happy even for just a moment. Success.
