| I was denied enlistment into the United States Army because of this disease. | ||||||||
I was always told there was nothing they could do to help me and now I am stuck with these spots that keep growing and spreading. I need to know if there is anything I can do aid in helping my skin. I know they will never go away but I need to figure out something. My three year old son now has one lesion behind his left ear. I was told it was unlikely he would ever get morphea. I am now afraid to have more children because I don't want them to go through what I have gone through. I think that more people need to learn about this disease so that children with this do not get the harassment I received growing up. My mom had the department of child services call on her because someone said I was all "bruised". I was denied enlistment into the United States Army because of this disease. If there is anyone out there who wants to help me inform others of this disease please contact me. Thank you. | ||||||||
