My story is a sad one. My aunt has had her scleroderma for nineteen years and now things are getting worse for her. She was in a hostel and now she is in St. George Hospital trying to get rid of a clot on the left side of her heart.

We are trying to get her into a nursing home, but they seem to think this is all in my aunt's head. But scleroderma is a disease that will not go away. I am her only next of kin as her sister is in a hostel too. Of course her sister is missing her, but we have to look for a nursing home.

What does it take for someone to help with our problems?

I am very sad that nothing can be done about this and I am getting worried about her. I do not think she will be coming to the hostel, but we will not know until they do more tests and I do not how much more testing that she can handle.
