| Our experience has been that unmoderated message boards become quickly over-run with sales messages, pornography, sermons, disreputable medical information, and foul language. Furthermore, they are used by drug addicts to try to find unsuspecting sources for pain killing or mood altering drugs. They are also subject to fundraising by illegitimate agencies pretending to serve the scleroderma community, and rife with the usual Internet cons of people trying to gather personal information (credit card numbers, birthdates, vacation plans) from unsuspecting participants. | ||
| Our moderating team works very hard to minimize this interference in our community. If you most desire a free-for-all message board, where you can say anything no matter how unwelcome or offensive to others, you would definitely want to join another list.
