Taking showers 'can make you ill. Showering may be bad for your health, say US scientists, who have shown that dirty shower heads can deliver a face full of harmful bacteria. Tests revealed nearly a third of devices harbour significant levels of a bug that causes lung disease. Update: Influenza Activity - United States, April to August 2009. By August, the cumulative number of 2009 pandemic influenza A (H1N1) virus infections in the United States was estimated to be at least 1 million. Pandemic H1N,1 during the last 2 weeks of August, activity increased in certain areas of the United States.
